Supervisor – Electronics & Instrumentation

Details

The Supervisor will organize and oversee the activities of electronic, pneumatic, and instrument technicians across various onboard and internal systems, ensuring safe operations, ISO/API compliance, and optimal technical performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of electronic and instrumentation technicians onboard and on-site.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians as needed.

  • Perform tasks as a Senior Technician while coordinating and supervising team members.

  • Manage systems including inert gas control, engine control & alarm systems, bilge and ballast monitoring, cargo tanks, viscometers, automatic voltage regulators, communication systems, fire detection systems, and flow control instruments.

  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards of Quality, Environmental, OHSMS, Security, and API Q1 compliance.

  • Maintain safety, quality, and technical standards according to company manuals and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or equivalent in Electronics or Instrumentation Technology.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a supervisor in the relevant field.

  • Strong skills in planning, organizing, and team leadership.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, hardworking, and able to manage time effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (spoken and written).

  • Trustworthy, honest, and able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Competent in computer applications and independent correspondence.

  • Ability to solve technical problems and work collaboratively in teams.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الإشراف اليومي على الفنيين في مجال الإلكترونيات والقياسات على السفن والمواقع الداخلية.

  • تقديم الدعم الفني والمشورة للفنيين عند الحاجة.

  • أداء مهام فني كبير مع إدارة الفريق تحت إشرافه.

  • إدارة أنظمة تشمل: التحكم بالغاز الخامل، أنظمة التحكم والانذار في المحركات، مراقبة مياه الصرف والبلست، خزانات البضائع، أجهزة قياس اللزوجة، منظمات الجهد التلقائي، أنظمة الاتصال الداخلي، أنظمة كشف الحريق، وأجهزة قياس التدفق.

  • ضمان الالتزام بمعايير ISO للجودة، البيئة، OHSMS، الأمن، ومعايير API Q1.

  • الحفاظ على معايير السلامة والجودة والتقنية وفق دليل وإجراءات الشركة.

المؤهلات المطلوبة

  • دبلوم أو ما يعادله في الإلكترونيات أو تكنولوجيا القياسات.

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 4 سنوات كمشرف في المجال.

  • مهارات قوية في التخطيط والتنظيم والقيادة.

  • مبادر، متحمس، قادر على إدارة الوقت بكفاءة.

  • مهارات اتصال ممتازة باللغة الإنجليزية (محادثة وكتابة).

  • موثوق، أمين، قادر على الحفاظ على السرية.

  • إجادة استخدام الحاسوب والقدرة على المراسلات بشكل مستقل.

  • القدرة على حل المشكلات التقنية والعمل ضمن فرق عمل متعاونة.
