Sales Officer – Plastic Packaging & Industrial Products – Bahrain

Drive growth and be part of AlAliaa Plastic Factory’s expanding sales team! Join a leading Bahrain-based manufacturer specializing in plastic bags, garbage bags, table-top covers, polythene sheeting, shrink wrap, and custom-printed packaging. We supply to distributors, supermarkets, wholesalers, factories, food service companies, cleaning companies, and government/institutional buyers.

Role Overview

The Sales Officer will generate new business, maintain customer relationships, understand client requirements, and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction. The role requires strong communication, product knowledge, and the ability to build trust quickly with clients in both B2B and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new client relationships in Bahrain and GCC markets

  • Conduct sales visits to wholesalers, supermarkets, distributors, factories, and cleaning supply companies

  • Prepare and submit RFQs, quotations, and pricing proposals

  • Maintain and grow recurring customer accounts

  • Coordinate with production team to confirm delivery timelines and specifications

  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to optimize sales strategy

  • Prepare weekly sales reports and customer pipeline updates

  • Attend exhibitions, trade events, and client meetings as required

Requirements

  • Previous B2B sales experience; knowledge of plastic packaging, FMCG, cleaning supplies, or manufacturing preferred

  • Valid Bahrain driving license (required)

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to understand product specifications (sizes, microns, packaging formats — training provided)

  • Motivated, disciplined, and target-driven

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage

  • رخصة قيادة بحرينية سارية (مطلوبة)

  • مهارات تواصل وتفاوض قوية

  • القدرة على فهم مواصفات المنتجات (الأحجام، السماكات، صيغ التغليف — يتم توفير التدريب)

  • التحفيز والانضباط والقدرة على تحقيق الأهداف

  • القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وضمن فريق

  • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية؛ تعتبر العربية ميزة قوية
