Project Planner – Ship Repair & Marine Projects

The Project Planner will be responsible for preparing and managing work schedules and Gantt charts for ship repair, shipbuilding, and offshore projects, ensuring progress tracking, accuracy, and performance analysis in line with company standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce detailed work schedules and Gantt charts for ship repair, construction, and specialized vessel projects.

  • Review project work lists prior to vessel arrival and determine task durations.

  • Identify necessary resources and levels of detail for each activity.

  • Develop and finalize accurate project schedules with resource allocation per trade.

  • Track and monitor project progress through site visits and system updates.

  • Analyze data using reports, graphics, and performance profiles.

  • Compare actual progress to planned timelines and recommend adjustments.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain ISO & API Q1 standards.

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a planner in the marine or similar industry.

  • Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and highly responsible professional.

  • Skilled at problem-solving and working with diverse teams.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إعداد الجداول الزمنية ومخططات العمل لمشاريع إصلاح السفن والبناء والأعمال البحرية.

  • دراسة قوائم الأعمال قبل وصول السفن وتحديد مدة الأنشطة المطلوبة.

  • تحديد الموارد البشرية والمعدات المطلوبة لكل نشاط.

  • إعداد الجدول النهائي بدقة عالية وتحديثه بانتظام.

  • متابعة سير العمل ميدانيًا وتحديث النظام وفقًا للتقدم الفعلي.

  • تحليل البيانات باستخدام التقارير والرسوم البيانية والمقارنات.

  • مقارنة التقدم الفعلي بالمخطط الزمني واقتراح الحلول.

  • ضمان الالتزام بمعايير الجودة والسلامة (ISO وAPI Q1).

  • تنفيذ المهام الإضافية وفق توجيهات الإدارة.

المؤهلات المطلوبة

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الكهربائية أو ما يعادلها.

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مجال التخطيط بالمشاريع البحرية أو الصناعية.

  • إتقان استخدام Primavera Project Planner وبرامج Microsoft Office.

  • مهارات قوية في الاتصال والتنظيم والتحليل.

  • القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط والالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية.
