Engineering – Civil & Construction

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead offshore trenching, backfilling, and pipeline installation projects from mobilization to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Technical Oversight: Supervise subsea trenching operations (jetting, mechanical cutting, etc.), backfilling, and pipeline stabilization activities.

  • Vessel & Equipment Management: Coordinate with marine vessels, ROVs, and trenching equipment operators to optimize efficiency and safety.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, survey teams, marine crews, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks related to weather, equipment failure, and subsea conditions.

  • HSEQ Compliance: Enforce strict HSE policies, including marine operations, dive safety (if applicable), and environmental protection.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates, cost reports, and risk assessments to senior management and clients.

🔹 Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in offshore trenching, backfilling, and pipeline installation.

  • Proven track record in subsea pipeline protection operations, including trenching, backfilling, stabilization, and seabed preparation.

  • Familiarity with trenching systems and equipment (jetting sleds, mechanical trenchers, ROVs).

  • Knowledge of offshore survey methods (multibeam, side-scan sonar) and positioning systems.

  • Strong project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to work offshore and travel as required.

🔹 Preferred Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.

  • NEBOSH / IOSH or similar HSE certifications.

  • Offshore survival certificates (BOSIET, HUET).

🔹 المهام الرئيسية

  • إدارة المشروع: قيادة مشاريع الحفر تحت الماء، الردم، وتركيب خطوط الأنابيب من التحضير إلى الإنجاز، مع الالتزام بالمواعيد، الميزانية ومعايير الجودة.

  • الإشراف الفني: متابعة عمليات الحفر تحت البحر (مثل النفث المائي، القطع الميكانيكي)، الردم، وتثبيت خطوط الأنابيب.

  • إدارة السفن والمعدات: تنسيق عمل السفن، ROV، ومشغلي معدات الحفر لتحقيق الكفاءة والسلامة.

  • تنسيق أصحاب المصلحة: التعاون مع العملاء، فرق المسح، الطواقم البحرية، والمقاولين لضمان تنفيذ المشاريع بسلاسة.

  • إدارة المخاطر: تحديد وتخفيف المخاطر المتعلقة بالطقس، أعطال المعدات، وظروف البحر.

  • الامتثال للسلامة والبيئة: الالتزام بسياسات وإجراءات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة، بما في ذلك السلامة البحرية، الغوص (إذا لزم)، وحماية البيئة.

  • التقارير: تقديم تحديثات منتظمة، تقارير تكاليف، وتقييمات المخاطر للإدارة والعملاء.

🔹 المؤهلات والمتطلبات

  • بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية، الهندسة البحرية، أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضّل الماجستير).

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في مشاريع الحفر تحت الماء، الردم، وتركيب خطوط الأنابيب.

  • سجل مثبت في عمليات حماية خطوط الأنابيب تحت البحر.

  • معرفة بأنظمة ومعدات الحفر (مثل زلاجات النفث المائي، الحفار الميكانيكي، ROV).

  • معرفة بأساليب المسح البحري وأنظمة تحديد المواقع.

  • مهارات قوية في إدارة المشاريع، التفاوض، وحل المشكلات.

  • القدرة على العمل في البحر والسفر عند الحاجة.

🔹 الشهادات المفضلة

  • PMP أو ما يعادلها.

  • NEBOSH / IOSH أو شهادات HSE مماثلة.
