Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial statements, assist in audits, and contribute to the enhancement of accounting processes. You will collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance with IFRS/SOCPA and provide actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS/SOCPA
• Ensure timely and accurate book closures and account reconciliations
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide supporting schedules and documentation
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting policies and processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist in disclosures for board and regulatory reporting
• Stay updated on accounting standards and assess financial reporting impacts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably with listed companies or audit exposure
• Big Four audit firm experience is an advantage
• Advanced certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; SOCPA familiarity is a plus
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics 365)
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

المهام والمسؤوليات

• إعداد ومراجعة البيانات المالية الشهرية والربع سنوية والسنوية وفق IFRS/SOCPA
• ضمان إغلاق الحسابات بدقة وفي الوقت المحدد وتسوية الحسابات
• التنسيق مع المدققين الخارجيين وتقديم الجداول والوثائق الداعمة
• تعزيز الرقابة الداخلية وتحسين السياسات والعمليات المحاسبية
• دعم إعداد الميزانية والتوقعات وتحليل الفروقات
• المساعدة في الإفصاحات لمجلس الإدارة والجهات الرقابية
• متابعة تحديثات المعايير المحاسبية وتقييم تأثيرها على التقارير المالية
• التعاون مع فرق مختلفة بما في ذلك الضرائب، القانونية، والعمليات

المؤهلات والخبرة

• شهادة بكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضل الماجستير)
• خبرة 5–7 سنوات في المحاسبة، ويفضل في الشركات المدرجة أو التدقيق
• خبرة في إحدى شركات التدقيق الكبرى (Big Four) ميزة إضافية
• شهادات متقدمة مثل CPA, CMA, ACCA, أو CA مفضلة بشدة
• معرفة قوية بـ IFRS؛ المعرفة بـ SOCPA ميزة إضافية
• خبرة عملية في أنظمة ERP (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics 365)
