About the Role

Fives Services Gulf is seeking a skilled Automation Technician in Bahrain to execute preventive and corrective maintenance, support customers on-site, and ensure optimal performance of industrial equipment, including Pot Tending Machines (PTMs).

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules according to company policies and best practices
• Administer, configure, maintain, and program assigned machinery, process control systems, and historical data systems
• Perform corrective maintenance and fault diagnosis to ensure machines operate efficiently
• Provide on-site customer support and ensure all systems comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Monitor equipment to optimize operational performance and minimize downtime
• Gather, record, analyze, and summarize maintenance data for reporting
• Contribute to development and implementation of best practice maintenance processes
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations, including HSEQ requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or vocational certification in Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance of overhead cranes, particularly Pot Tending Machines (PTM)
• Strong technical knowledge of automation, control systems, and process monitoring
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex equipment issues
• Knowledge of safety standards and best maintenance practices

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

• تنفيذ جدول الصيانة الوقائية المخطط لها وفق سياسات الشركة وأفضل الممارسات
• إدارة، تكوين، صيانة، وبرمجة المعدات المخصصة، وأنظمة التحكم في العمليات، وأنظمة البيانات التاريخية
• إجراء الصيانة التصحيحية وتشخيص الأعطال لضمان عمل المعدات بكفاءة
• تقديم الدعم للعملاء في الموقع وضمان توافق جميع الأنظمة مع معايير السلامة والتنظيم
• مراقبة المعدات لتحسين الأداء التشغيلي وتقليل وقت التوقف
• جمع وتحليل وتلخيص بيانات الصيانة لإعداد التقارير
• المساهمة في تطوير وتنفيذ أفضل ممارسات الصيانة
• ضمان الامتثال لجميع اللوائح الداخلية والخارجية، بما في ذلك متطلبات الصحة والسلامة والجودة والبيئة (HSEQ)
