Drive Industrial Excellence as a Repair Service Engineer – Bahrain

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new and existing repair/overhauling business opportunities across Fives’ installed base.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, conduct site inspections, and assess equipment for repair feasibility.

  • Prepare and deliver technically accurate and commercially competitive repair proposals.

  • Support after-sales contract negotiations and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.

  • Conduct diagnostic activities such as NDT, vibration analysis, and dimensional measurements.

  • Supervise post-sales activities, gather customer feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and operations for smooth project execution.

  • Stay updated on repair technologies, installed base performance, and regional market trends.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.

  • 3–5 years of experience in after-sales, service engineering, or repair business, preferably with OEMs or heavy industry (aluminum, steel, cement, oil & gas).

  • Proven experience in repair/overhauling projects, proposal preparation, costing, and scope definition.

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical repair and diagnostic techniques (NDT, vibration analysis, dimensional inspection).

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, including sales support, negotiations, and technical presentations.

Preferred Certifications & Memberships

  • NDT Level II or Vibration Analysis Certification.

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent.

  • Awareness of ISO 9001/14001/45001 or other HSEQ standards.

  • Membership in professional societies such as ASME, IMechE, or SPE.

  • إجراء أنشطة تشخيصية مثل NDT، تحليل الاهتزاز، والقياسات البُعدية.

  • الإشراف على أنشطة ما بعد البيع، جمع ملاحظات العملاء ودعم مبادرات التحسين المستمر.

  • التعاون مع الفرق متعددة التخصصات مثل الهندسة وسلسلة التوريد والعمليات لضمان تنفيذ سلس للمشاريع.

  • متابعة أحدث تقنيات الإصلاح وأداء المعدات وقيم السوق الإقليمية لتلبية احتياجات العملاء.

المؤهلات والخبرة المطلوبة

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الصناعية أو الميكاترونكس.

  • خبرة من 3–5 سنوات في خدمات ما بعد البيع أو الهندسة أو أعمال الإصلاح، ويفضل مع شركات OEM أو الصناعات الثقيلة (الألومنيوم، الحديد والصلب، الأسمنت، النفط والغاز).

  • خبرة مثبتة في مشاريع الإصلاح والصيانة، إعداد العروض، التكاليف، وتحديد نطاق العمل.

  • معرفة تقنية قوية بممارسات الإصلاح الميكانيكي وتقنيات التشخيص (NDT، تحليل الاهتزاز، القياسات البُعدية).

  • خبرة في التعامل المباشر مع العملاء، بما يشمل دعم المبيعات والتفاوض والعروض التقنية.

الشهادات والعضويات المفضلة

  • شهادة NDT Level II أو تحليل الاهتزاز.

  • شهادة إدارة مشاريع (PMP، PRINCE2) أو ما يعادلها.

  • معرفة بمعايير ISO 9001/14001/45001 أو شهادات HSEQ الأخرى.
