Group Senior Finance Manager – Bahrain

Role Overview

Oversee and manage the regional finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, effective working capital management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements for group entities (stand-alone and consolidated).

  • Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and providing insights for management/Board of Directors.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and profitability to support decision-making.

  • Monitor working capital and cash needs; report through short- and long-term cash flow projections.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations (customers, vendors, employees, VAT, intercompany, banks).

  • Review business propositions for profitability and cashflow.

  • Oversee customer invoicing and billing processes.

  • Analyze profitability by business unit, entity, or product/service line.

  • Ensure regulatory and tax filings are accurate and timely.

  • Coordinate with customers and vendors on statements of account/reconciliations.

  • Support HR in payroll, employee commissions, and final settlements.

  • Manage treasury operations and liaise with banks on accounts and facilities.

  • Lead internal and external audits for portfolio companies.

  • Supervise finance, accounts receivable, and billing teams.

  • Collaborate with procurement to control costs and ensure compliance with policies.

  • Provide functional leadership on finance-related projects (ERP implementation, e-invoicing, billing systems).

Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA) is mandatory.

Experience

  • 6+ years managerial-level experience (non-financial sector).

  • 2+ years working in the Middle East is mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong finance controlling experience and team leadership.

  • Thorough understanding of IFRS.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • ERP experience; exposure to implementation is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of KSA regulations (ZATCA / e-invoicing) is desirable.

  • إعداد البيانات المالية للكيانات التابعة للمجموعة (مستقلة ومجمعة).

  • إجراء التحليلات الخاصة لتحديد الاتجاهات والأنماط والربحية لدعم اتخاذ القرار.

  • متابعة رأس المال العامل واحتياجات النقد، والإبلاغ من خلال توقعات التدفقات النقدية قصيرة وطويلة الأجل.

  • ضمان إجراء التسويات بدقة وفي الوقت المناسب (عملاء، موردين، موظفين، ضريبة القيمة المضافة، معاملات بين الشركات، البنوك).

  • مراجعة عروض الأعمال من حيث الربحية والتدفق النقدي.

  • الإشراف على عمليات الفوترة والفواتير للعملاء.

  • تحليل الربحية حسب وحدة الأعمال أو الكيان أو خط المنتج/الخدمة.

  • ضمان تقديم الملفات التنظيمية والضريبية بدقة وفي الوقت المناسب.

  • التنسيق مع العملاء والموردين بشأن حسابات البيانات والتسويات.

  • دعم قسم الموارد البشرية في الرواتب، وعمولات الموظفين، والتسويات النهائية.

  • إدارة العمليات النقدية والتنسيق مع البنوك بشأن الحسابات والتسهيلات.

  • قيادة عمليات التدقيق الداخلي والخارجي للشركات التابعة.

  • الإشراف على فرق المالية، الحسابات المستحقة القبض، والفواتير.

  • التعاون مع قسم المشتريات للسيطرة على التكاليف وضمان الامتثال للسياسات.

  • تقديم القيادة الوظيفية للمشاريع المتعلقة بالمالية (تنفيذ أنظمة ERP، الفوترة الإلكترونية، أنظمة الفوترة).

المؤهلات

  • شهادة محاسبة مهنية (CA / ACCA / CPA) إلزامية.

الخبرة

  • خبرة إدارية لا تقل عن 6 سنوات في مجال غير مالي.

  • خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط إلزامية.

المهارات والكفاءات

  • خبرة قوية في الرقابة المالية وقيادة الفريق.
