Details

The Generator Technician will handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of standby and prime marine generators. The role requires strong technical skills, precision, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on marine diesel generators.
Conduct preventative maintenance including oil changes, coolant service, filter replacements, and load testing.
Inspect and repair generator control panels, wiring, sensors, and electrical components.
Service fuel systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.
Conduct onboard vessel assessments to identify performance issues.
Install and commission new marine generators and electrical equipment.
Perform sea trials and ensure safe operation under load.
Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and regulations.
Communicate effectively with vessel owners, captains, and service managers.
Respond to emergency service calls as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a generator, diesel, or industrial equipment technician.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and power-generation equipment.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Immediate joiners are preferred.

Benefits

التفاصيل

سيكون فني المولدات مسؤولاً عن تركيب وصيانة وتشخيص وإصلاح المولدات البحرية الاحتياطية والتشغيلية. تتطلب الوظيفة مهارات تقنية قوية وقدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وجماعي.

المسؤوليات

تشخيص الأعطال وإجراء أعمال الإصلاح للمولدات البحرية التي تعمل بالديزل.
تنفيذ الصيانة الوقائية مثل تغيير الزيوت، وخدمة المياه المبردة، واستبدال الفلاتر، واختبارات الأحمال.
فحص وإصلاح لوحات التحكم والأسلاك والمجسات والمكوّنات الكهربائية.
صيانة أنظمة الوقود والتبريد والعادم للمولدات البحرية.
إجراء تقييمات على متن السفن لتحديد مشكلات الأداء.
تركيب وتشغيل المولدات البحرية الجديدة والمعدات الكهربائية.
المشاركة في تجارب البحر وضمان التشغيل الآمن تحت الأحمال.
إعداد تقارير دقيقة حول الأعمال المنجزة.
الالتزام بمعايير السلامة البحرية.
التواصل الفعّال مع أصحاب القوارب والقباطنة ومديري الصيانة.
الاستجابة للبلاغات الطارئة وإجراء الإصلاحات عند الحاجة.

الشروط

شهادة ثانوية أو ما يعادلها؛ يفضّل وجود شهادة تقنية.
خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مجال المولدات أو الديزل أو المعدات الصناعية.
معرفة قوية بالأنظمة الكهربائية ومعدات توليد الطاقة.
القدرة على قراءة المخططات الكهربائية والكتيبات الفنية.
رخصة قيادة سارية وسجل نظيف.
القدرة الجسدية على رفع 50 رطلاً والعمل في ظروف جوية مختلفة.
يفضّل المتقدمون القادرون على الالتحاق الفوري.
