Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor with expertise in both carpentry and aluminium fabrication. You will oversee daily production, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and manage a team of skilled carpenters and metal fabricators. The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver with strong leadership skills and deep knowledge of both trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, assign, and supervise daily workshop tasks ensuring efficient workflow and on-time project completion.

  • Read and interpret architectural and technical drawings for carpentry and aluminium works.

  • Lead production from material preparation to assembly and finishing.

  • Coordinate with project managers and other departments to meet deadlines.

  • Mentor and motivate the workshop team, providing on-the-job training and feedback.

  • Conduct quality checks at all stages, ensuring all work meets company standards.

  • Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workshop.

  • Manage inventory, optimize material usage, and report on productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven 5+ years experience as Workshop Supervisor, Foreman, or Senior Technician in carpentry and aluminium fabrication.

  • Hands-on skills in woodwork (cutting, assembling, finishing) and aluminium work (cutting, welding, mechanical assembly).

  • Knowledge of workshop machinery for both trades.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Understanding of health and safety protocols; ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

  • Formal qualifications in Carpentry, Metal Fabrication, or related fields are highly desirable.

  • Experience in architectural metalwork, shop fitting, or custom furniture is a plus.

  • Knowledge of finishing processes such as powder coating or anodizing is advantageous.
