    Job Overview

        • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of construction activities on-site, including material delivery, contractor schedules, labor resources, and equipment usage.

    Key Responsibilities

          • Review design proposals, work programs, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, payments, variation orders, and claims.

          • Effectively manage the site supervision staff during construction to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

          • Ensure all contractors, subcontractors, and workers adhere to project schedules, quality, and safety standards.

          • Work closely with designers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications.

          • Regularly review progress and status reports and advise on adjustments to meet project requirements.

          • Provide updates to the client and project team on project status, costs, and progress; request approvals or change orders as needed.

          • Collaborate with project contractors to recommend innovative solutions to improve quality and save project costs.

          • Prepare and submit periodic project reports summarizing progress, schedules, and goals.

          • Coordinate with other Resident Engineers on schedules, resources, and problem-solving.

          • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship installed, operated, and maintained.

          • Maintain daily diaries and reports; liaise with clients, project management, contractors, and authorities to resolve issues.
