Position: Compliance Officer
Location: MENA (specific location to be discussed)
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–2 years in Financial Services, Fintech, or high-growth startups
Education: Degree preferred, but real-world experience is valued
Language: English required; Arabic preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and reporting.

  • Review and update compliance documentation, manuals, and internal procedures.

  • Respond to compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor regulatory developments and communicate updates to relevant teams.

  • Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance training for staff.

  • Collaborate with departments to mitigate compliance risks, including AML & CFT tasks.

  • Support the Board Secretary with administrative tasks and corporate governance compliance.

  • Carry out additional duties as required to support business growth.

Requirements & Skills

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial services, fintech, or fast-growing startups.

  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, AML/CFT principles, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to establish credibility and maintain strong internal relationships.

  • Problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced fintech environment.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

  • المساعدة في تطوير وتنفيذ سياسات وإجراءات الامتثال.

  • إجراء المراقبة الدورية للامتثال وتقييم المخاطر وإعداد التقارير.

  • مراجعة وتحديث الوثائق والإجراءات الداخلية للامتثال.

  • الرد على استفسارات الامتثال من أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين والخارجيين.

  • متابعة التطورات التنظيمية وإبلاغ الفرق المعنية بالتحديثات.

  • المساعدة في إعداد التقارير التنظيمية وتدريب الموظفين على الامتثال.

  • التعاون مع الأقسام لتقليل مخاطر الامتثال، بما في ذلك مهام مكافحة غسيل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب (AML & CFT).

  • دعم أمين مجلس الإدارة بالمهام الإدارية وضمان الامتثال لممارسات الحوكمة المؤسسية.
