Speech Therapist – Bahrain

Motivational Introduction:

Role Overview

Provide individualized speech therapy services to children, working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic support and measurable progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individualized assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Design and implement evidence-based therapy programs aligned with client goals.

  • Monitor progress using data-driven methods and modify programs as needed.

  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary case meetings to enhance client care.

  • Partner with families for education, progress reviews, and support.

  • Coordinate with schools and other providers for consistent support.

  • Conduct caregiver training and home/school visits as required.

  • Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and dignity of all clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language/Hearing Sciences or Speech-Language Pathology.

  • NHRA license (or eligibility for licensure in Bahrain).

  • Experience working with children and developmental delays.

  • Bilingual in English and Arabic.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or related field.

  • Additional certifications, trainings, or fellowships.

تقديم خدمات علاج النطق الفردية للأطفال، والعمل عن قرب مع العائلات والمدارس والمتخصصين الآخرين لضمان دعم شامل وتحقيق تقدم قابل للقياس.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إجراء تقييمات فردية وتطوير خطط علاجية مخصصة.

  • تصميم وتنفيذ برامج علاجية قائمة على الأدلة ومتوافقة مع أهداف العميل.

  • متابعة التقدم باستخدام أساليب قائمة على البيانات وإجراء التعديلات عند الحاجة.

  • التعاون في اجتماعات الحالة متعددة التخصصات لتعزيز رعاية العملاء.

  • الشراكة مع العائلات لتقديم التعليم ومراجعة التقدم والدعم.

  • التنسيق مع المدارس ومقدمي الخدمات الآخرين لضمان الدعم المستمر.

  • تقديم تدريب للأوصياء وزيارات منزلية/مدرسية عند الحاجة.

  • ضمان رفاهية وسلامة وكرامة جميع العملاء.

المتطلبات

  • درجة بكالوريوس في علوم النطق/السمع أو علم أمراض النطق واللغة.

  • رخصة NHRA (أو الأهلية للحصول على الرخصة في البحرين).

  • خبرة في العمل مع الأطفال والتأخرات النمائية.

  • إتقان اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.

  • مهارات قوية في التواصل والتنظيم.

المؤهلات المفضلة

  • درجة ماجستير في علم أمراض النطق واللغة أو علوم الاتصال أو مجال ذي صلة.

  • شهادات إضافية أو تدريبات أو زمالات متخصصة.
