Technical Support / Infrastructure Engineer – Bahrain

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure across Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365 / Active Directory, and networking/firewall devices (e.g., Palo Alto).

  • Implement and monitor IT policies / standards related to ISO compliance (e.g., ISO 27001).

  • Respond to technical support requests for infrastructure, network security, cloud services, and connectivity issues.

  • Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability across cloud and hybrid systems.

  • Implement and maintain backup / disaster recovery solutions and enforce proper change management procedures.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles on Microsoft platform tools.

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliances.

  • Participate in cloud/hybrid infrastructure deployment, migration, and upgrade projects.

  • Generate system documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and support logs.

  • Collaborate with security, audit, IT, DevOps, and network teams to ensure system integration, risk mitigation, and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

  • 2–3 years in technical support or infrastructure/cloud-support roles.

  • Experience with Amazon AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM).

  • Experience with Microsoft cloud/platform services (Azure, Microsoft 365, AD).

  • Knowledge of Palo Alto firewall/security appliances.

  • Understanding of ISO / IT security compliance standards (ISO 27001 or similar).

  • Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written).

  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • AWS or Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365).

  • Experience with IT-security / audit / compliance assessments.

  • Hybrid cloud environment experience.

  • Infrastructure automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, Terraform).

  • Networking knowledge (VPNs, routing, switching).

  • Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security scanning).

الوصف الوظيفي / المسؤوليات الرئيسية

  • إدارة وصيانة ودعم البنية التحتية السحابية عبر Amazon AWS و Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365 / Active Directory وأجهزة الشبكات / الجدران النارية (مثل Palo Alto).

  • تنفيذ ومراقبة السياسات والمعايير المتعلقة بالامتثال لمعايير ISO (مثل ISO 27001).

  • الرد على طلبات الدعم الفني للبنية التحتية، وأمن الشبكات، والخدمات السحابية، ومشاكل الاتصال.

  • مراقبة صحة النظام، الأداء، السعة، والتوافر عبر الأنظمة السحابية والهجينة.

  • تنفيذ وصيانة حلول النسخ الاحتياطي / استعادة البيانات وضمان اتباع إجراءات إدارة التغيير الصحيحة.

  • إدارة حسابات المستخدمين والصلاحيات والأدوار على أدوات منصة Microsoft.

  • تكوين وصيانة واستكشاف مشاكل الجدران النارية، والشبكات الافتراضية VPN، وأجهزة أمان الشبكات.

  • المشاركة في تنفيذ مشاريع البنية التحتية السحابية / الهجينة، والترحيل، والتحديثات.

  • إعداد الوثائق التشغيلية، والروتين اليومي، وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية وسجلات الدعم.

  • التعاون مع فرق الأمن، التدقيق، تقنية المعلومات، DevOps، والشبكات لضمان التكامل وتقليل المخاطر والامتثال.

المؤهلات والمهارات المطلوبة

  • درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الحاسوب، تقنية المعلومات أو خبرة معادلة.

  • خبرة 2–3 سنوات في الدعم الفني أو البنية التحتية / دعم السحابة.

  • خبرة في خدمات AWS الأساسية (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM).

  • خبرة في خدمات Microsoft السحابية / منصة Microsoft (Azure, Microsoft 365, AD).

  • معرفة بأجهزة جدار الحماية / أمان الشبكات Palo Alto.

  • فهم معايير الامتثال لأمن المعلومات ISO / IT (مثل ISO 27001).

  • الطلاقة في اللغة العربية (كتابة وتحدث).

  • مهارات قوية في استكشاف الأخطاء وحل المشكلات والتعاون.

يفضل / مهارات إضافية
