Systems Management Engineer – Cloud & AI Infrastructure

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Systems Management Engineer to join our team. This role will support digital transformation initiatives, manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, and collaborate with AI/automation teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient computing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.

  • Implement and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.) following best practices for security, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives: integrate AI tools, automate workflows, and modernize legacy systems.

  • Develop and maintain system management tools and processes (monitoring, backups, failover/recovery, scaling strategies).

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning & configuration using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS-native tooling).

  • Monitor system health, usage, and performance metrics; troubleshoot issues; optimize performance.

  • Participate in security & compliance tasks: policies, access controls, vulnerability assessments.

  • Collaborate with AI/ML/Data teams to support AI services deployment.

  • Assist in migrating on-premises or legacy systems to cloud infrastructure.

  • Document system architecture, SOPs, runbooks, and incident response plans.

  • Participate in on-call or rotating duty for system outages or critical incidents.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in systems/cloud engineering on AWS or equivalent cloud platform.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Associate / SysOps / Cloud Practitioner)

  • AI/ML deployment frameworks experience (e.g., AWS SageMaker)

  • Containerization (Docker), microservices, serverless architectures

  • DevOps / DevSecOps tooling knowledge

  • Familiarity with databases, analytics pipelines, and data workflows

  • Experience in digital transformation or modernization projects

Soft Skills & Attributes

  • Must be proficient in Arabic

  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to incidents quickly

  • Commitment to learning new technologies and staying up to date with cloud/AI trends

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

  • تصميم، نشر، مراقبة، وصيانة البنية التحتية السحابية على AWS.

  • المساهمة في مبادرات التحول الرقمي: دمج أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي، أتمتة سير العمل، وتحديث الأنظمة القديمة.

  • تطوير وصيانة أدوات وإجراءات إدارة الأنظمة (المراقبة، النسخ الاحتياطي، استراتيجيات التعافي، التوسع).

  • أتمتة تهيئة البنية التحتية وإعدادها باستخدام Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation، Terraform، أو أدوات AWS الأصلية).

  • مراقبة حالة النظام، الأداء، واستخدام الموارد؛ تشخيص المشكلات وتحسين الأداء.

  • المشاركة في مهام الأمان والامتثال: السياسات، التحكم في الوصول، تقييم الثغرات.

  • التعاون مع فرق AI/ML/البيانات لدعم نشر خدمات الذكاء الاصطناعي.

  • المساعدة في نقل الأنظمة المحلية أو القديمة إلى البنية التحتية السحابية.

  • توثيق هندسة النظام، الإجراءات التشغيلية القياسية، خطط الاستجابة للحوادث.

  • المشاركة في مناوبات الاستدعاء للتعامل مع أعطال النظام أو الحوادث الحرجة.

الخبرة المطلوبة

  • 2–3 سنوات خبرة عملية في هندسة الأنظمة / السحابة على AWS أو منصة سحابية مماثلة.

المفضل / الإضافي

  • شهادات AWS (AWS Certified Associate / SysOps / Cloud Practitioner)

  • خبرة في نشر AI/ML (مثل AWS SageMaker)

  • خبرة في الحاويات (Docker)، الميكروسيرفيسز، والهياكل بدون خوادم

  • معرفة أدوات DevOps / DevSecOps

  • معرفة بأنظمة البيانات، خطوط التحليل، وسير العمل الخاص بالبيانات
