Job Summary

Grant Thornton Abdulaal Bahrain is seeking a qualified and motivated Manager Finance to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and guide strategic decisions for a leading client in Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the financial health and operations of the organization
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Monitor cash flow and manage working capital
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Analyze financial performance and identify trends or variances
Implement and maintain financial controls and compliance with laws and standards
Coordinate internal and external audits
Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members
Evaluate expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives
Identify financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies
Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and reporting standards
Use financial software/ERP systems to manage operations efficiently
Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA strongly preferred
5–10 years of progressive experience in financial management or corporate finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Arabic language skills are an advantage
Candidates must be currently based in Bahrain

5–10 سنوات من الخبرة المتدرجة في الإدارة المالية أو التمويل المؤسسي
معرفة قوية بمبادئ المحاسبة واللوائح المالية ومعايير التقارير (IFRS/GAAP)
خبرة مثبتة في إعداد الميزانيات والتوقعات والتحليل المالي
إجادة استخدام برامج المحاسبة وأنظمة ERP (مثل SAP، Oracle، QuickBooks)
